Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely known for her pioneering modern research of the memory of children as eyewitnesses and also the application of child victimization in court. Professor Goodman has published extensively she has received grants from numerous sources and received several international and national distinctions. She has advised numerous authorities and government agencies around all over the world on policy and studies pertaining to the treatment of child victims in the justice system. Additionally, she provides consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a fellow of many professional organizations including those of the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of women and trauma stress 56). Professor Goodman belongs to the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding Member and International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She is the former president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy as well as Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
