Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas to pursue the career of an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she quickly relocated in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, such as local independent films and commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she was a fan of acting. After 2001, she relocated from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Children's daytime soap-opera as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear alongside many top TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget, and Mitch Pilegget. The character she's most remembered for was her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated numerous times for her character in the show, including Best Supporting Actress in Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008 she took home the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko, as well as spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most recent TV appearance was on NBC's somewhat dramatic dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After a couple of episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her older twin brother Cory is 10 years younger than her. Her family was very strict and religious one. Milano began her acting career when she was seven when her babysitter joined her for an audition. With more than 1000 applicants, she was chosen as one of just four. Milano was featured in television advertisements, off-Broadway productions and in the American debut of Jane Eyre.
